Check this page often for updated listings of all types of cycling events in and around our area. Rides require, at minimum, an appropriate bike in good working order, water, and a helmet. We suggest a spare tube, energy food, maybe a little cash in case we stop. Many rides are held subject to weather. It's a good idea to confirm dates, time and any specific requirements, too. Team In Training, the world’s first, largest and best charity sports training program, provides four to five months of certified coaching, a supportive group of teammates and nutritional advice to help you complete a marathon, half marathon, triathlon, cycling event or hike adventure. TNT arranges airfare and hotel accommodations to the event of your choice – in locales including Honolulu, San Diego and Lake Tahoe. In exchange, participants raise funds to support blood cancer research and patient services. And if coaching and cheering from teammates still isn’t enough to motivate you, every participant trains in honor of a patient battling leukemia, lymphoma or myeloma. The program is geared for everyone – from beginners to seasoned athletes.
